Medical Markup schema.org Generator Tool

Incorporating schema.org microdata into your website is generally considered to be good idea.  The search engines tell us that using microdata makes it easier for them to index, and hopefully the fact that you have taken the effort to put the rich snippets onto your site will convince them that you are a genuine site!

Anyway, this tool helps you insert Medical Condition markup into your text quickly and easily.  Simply paste your text into the text area.  Start by highlighting all the text you want to include in the markup for the medical condition.  Then select the MedicalCondition div option from the drop down list (don’t worry if your highlighting disappears), then click Add.  The generator will wrap the medicalCondition div around your highlighted area.

You can then proceed to add span elements around items such as the name of the condition, signs and symptoms, causes etc. by highlighting them, selecting the relevant item from the drop down list and clicking Add.

Full details on the different uses of the items can be found on the schema.org Medical Condition page available here.  If there are any items that we don’t support but you would like added, send us an email at support (link at the bottom of the page) and we’ll see what we can do.

Once you have finished adding all the elements you want simply copy and paste your text into your site.
