Luria Sequencing scoring screen
What it captures

A steady lens on a classic test of motor sequencing

The Luria three-step motor sequence — fist, edge, palm, repeated — is a simple bedside probe of frontal-lobe programming and motor sequencing ability. Luria Sequencing turns your iPhone into a steady, always-ready camera for the test: film the patient performing the sequence, then replay the clip in slow motion afterwards to score it calmly and consistently. The app captures and counts — it doesn't interpret or diagnose.

A simple four-step workflow

Every assessment follows the same process, making scoring faster and more consistent.

1
Record

Record the entire assessment without interruption, right on your iPhone.

2
Review & score

Replay the recording at your own speed and tap to tally successes, errors, freezes and hesitations.

3
Finish

When you’re finished, calculate the final tallies with a single tap.

4
Results

View the final tallies and save the assessment to the patient record.

Built for the clinic

Private by design

Patient recordings never leave the device. Clips stay local for scoring and review, and the app prompts you to delete each one once scoring is complete — no cloud upload, ever.

Never uploaded
Video stays on the device that recorded it.
Prompted deletion
Clear each clip once scoring is complete.
Consent-first
A clear consent step before every recording.

Who it's for

Neuropsychology

A consistent record of motor sequencing performance across assessments.

Neurology

A quick bedside probe of frontal-lobe programming and executive function.

Rehabilitation

Track successes, errors, freezes and hesitations across a course of therapy.

Common questions

What do I need to use it?

Just an iPhone. Position it to frame the patient's hands on the table, and you're ready to record.

Does the app interpret the results?

No. Luria Sequencing captures and tallies what you score — successes, errors, freezes and hesitations — the clinical interpretation is yours.

What happens to the recorded video?

It stays on your device and is never uploaded. The app prompts you to delete each clip once scoring is complete.
